About the role
We are seeking a fabulous Care Experience Coordinator to join our wonderful team at Bayswater Village, in the sunny Bay of Plenty. We have a permanent, full-time position available working 32hrs per week, with flexibility across working days and hours, but will include working 1 weekend day each week.
This role supports the Nurse Manager by assisting with the delivery of operational and hospitality services for residential care residents. This position hosts a variety of duties which includes coordinating and assisting with planning programmes for daily activities, assisting the manager with front-of-house duties and checking that all areas are consistent with our premium positioning.
Duties include:
Assist Care Suite residents in a concierge-like capacity assisting them to coordinate and manage their day in a way that enables them to spend their leisure time doing the things they love.
Liaise with external suppliers and build relationships with the local community.
Co-ordinate resident admissions and transitions (from Village) to care.
Assist and coordinate the daily dining experience for residents.
About you
Ideally you will have previous experience in a similar type position, ideally in Aged Care or perhaps event management or client-facing type positions. Customer service is at the heart of everything you do, as are your inherent people skills and your ability to manage and lead a successful collaborative team. You will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills along with the desire to provide an outstanding and premium service to our Care Suite Residents and their families.
