We plan, fund, and deliver health services to the almost 600,000 people that live in the Canterbury region.We are committed to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its principles by ensuring our partnership with Maori are at the forefront of all our conversations.Te Whatu Ora, Health New Zealand, leads the day-to-day running of our health system across New Zealand, with functions delivered at local, district, regional, and national levels.It weaves the functions of the 20 former District Health Boards into its regional divisions and district offices, ensuring continuity of services in the health system.About the RoleOur Cardiology Department is widely recognised for its comprehensive approach to cardiovascular health and is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and cutting-edge technology.As a Cardiology Fellow specializing in Electrophysiology, you will have the opportunity to work alongside renowned experts in the field, gaining hands-on experience in the diagnosis and treatment of various cardiac arrhythmias.You will be involved in a wide range of procedures, including electrophysiology studies, ablations, pacemaker and defibrillator implantations, and device follow-up.Skills & ExperienceRelevant qualification is required with the ability to gain registration with the New Zealand Medical Council (MCNZ).Demonstrated interest in Electrophysiology, with a strong desire to specialize in the field.Our CultureWhat matters to us is putting people at the heart of all we do.
