Join our Cardiology department as a vital member of the Scientific andTechnical Teams. As a Cardiac Device Facilitator, your role will supportDevices, Cath Lab, ECG, and Echo section heads. Our teams are responsible for performing and assisting in avariety of diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures for both patientsadmitted to our hospitals and outpatients. The majority of our work is based onthe Christchurch Campus, but we also cover the West Coast, and South Canterburyfor some services. Key Responsibilities: PatientRemote Monitoring Support: Train and assist patients with remotemonitoring of newly implanted CIEDs, troubleshoot and resolve issues overphone, and maintain accurate records in the Paceart system. CIEDDocumentation Management: Maintain and update records for cardiacimplantable electronic devices (CIED) for local, transferred, and deceasedpatients. BookingAudits: Review and ensure follow-up for cardiac patients is accurate,and finalized reports are completed. DataCollation & Reporting: Assist in collecting, graphing, and sharingdata for electrophysiology, devices, and exercise tolerance testing. EquipmentMaintenance: Ensure timely safety checks on equipment and coordinatewith vendors for upgrades and repairs. ResearchAssistance: Support departmental research through data entry andcollation. BookingSupport: Help manage booking tasks for cardiac device clinics,covering for the booking clerk when necessary. TeamCoordination: Assist the three cardiology teams with workloadtracking, meeting minute-taking, and SIPICs entry. ICDSupport Group: Actively support the ICD patient group, includingproviding remote monitoring updates and answering questions. Essential Qualifications & Experience: Proficiencyin computer systems, including Excel. Experiencewith patient management systems. Personal Attributes: Strongorganizational skills with the ability to prioritize. Teamplayer with excellent communication and liaison abilities. Highdegree of confidentiality and professionalism.
