Canterbury & Harewood Memorial Gardens – Manager of Sales and Operations InvoCare, a funeral industry leader, operates over 300 funeral locations, 17 cemeteries, and 29 crematoria throughout Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore, and is growing.
About the role We are seeking a strong manager and sales leader to manage and showcase our gardens, memorial grounds, and products while supporting bereaved families to memorialise their loved ones.
You will lead a team to provide a seamless and high-quality service to clients in our beautiful memorial parks and evolve our strategic plan for both the Canterbury Memorial Gardens (Linwood) and Harewood Memorial Gardens.
As the Sales and Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving this business.
You will be responsible for supporting clients in selecting, designing, and coordinating cremation memorials.
Given the sensitive nature of the products and services, sales are conducted in a dignified and respectful manner.
You will manage a great team of sales staff, gardeners, and administrative team members.
You will also work closely with our chapel operations and cremator tech teams to ensure seamless, professional service to our client families.
The two Memorial Gardens that you will manage will be: The Harewood Memorial Gardens A formal park with rose gardens and native plantings, long graceful walkways flanked by immaculate lawns, shaded by mature trees, creating a serene setting for rest and contemplation.
The gardens are laid out in commemorative courts, including a Court of Memories, a Court of Music, and a Community Services Court.
The Canterbury Memorial Gardens (Linwood) Over the years, the gardens have grown to cover 20 acres, creating a delightful rambling park full of tranquil nooks and corners.
9,000 roses are cared for by a team of skilled gardeners.
Paths meander through mature trees, a rich habitat for birds and a large population of monarch butterflies.
