We are currently undergoing a complete transformation and enhancing all the hotel facilities to continue delivering outstanding luxury service to our guests. Scheduled to complete the changes in Spring 2024, the hotel will provide an all-encompassing experience of entertainment, leisure, dining, conferencing and unparalleled hospitality.
Job DescriptionWorking as part of the kitchen team this position involves food ordering, preparation, presentation and service for our ambassadors' meals for lunch.Meals should be balanced with healthy options.To maintain a clean and hygienic work environment following Food Safety guidelines & HACCP principles, filling monitoring records, whilst ensuring a product of high quality and presentation standards.Demonstrate commitment to customer service for internal customers.Follow cleaning checklist and instructions and schedule before and after service times.Assist with taking payment for meals.Liaise with stewarding team for cleaning kitchen area (floor, waste, bins) and to keep sanitizers (Diversey D4) and multipurpose cleaner (D2) spray bottles and paper napkins filled.Keep coffee, tea, sugar and all condiments full for breakfast and lunch.QualificationsHas the aptitude and willingness to undertake further development with Sofitel.Attention to detailsTeamwork, communication, willingness to learn and exceedOrganisation, mise en place for successful service, speedCreativity, authenticityCleanlinessPassion to cook great food for all our staff to enjoyAdditional InformationJoining our team will unlock generous local, national & international industry benefits on accommodation, dining, travel, wellbeing & more from Day 1.
