Cambridge Stud - Resident Equine Veterinarian - Hamilton

Position type: Resident Equine VeterinarianCambridge Stud is one of New Zealand's most prestigious thoroughbred breeding operations. Each year we foal down 250 mares, process over 300 mares to line up for service and prepare over 50 yearlings for the major sales in New Zealand and Australia.
The role: As the resident veterinarian, you will play a pivotal role in managing the health and reproductive care of our stallions, broodmares, foals, and yearlings. This hands-on position focuses on reproductive work, foal health, and routine assessments, including pre-sale yearling evaluations such as scoping and x-rays. You will work closely with our experienced team to ensure the wellbeing and optimal development of our young stock.
