The role is Fixed Term with 40 hours a week for the Month of October.What you'll getOur people and customers are at the heart of everything we do.State of the art facilities, with a diverse team, in a fast paced and dynamic industry.A national commitment to attaining the highest standards in HSE through best practice.Enjoy competitive pay rates, guaranteed 40 hours per week, and more.What you'll doYou will be responsible to assist with the safe handling of freight, achieve target delivery goals, and strive to provide an on time, damage-free service.Additional key duties below:Load and unload all freight safely and securely.Achieve branch operational objectives by using On-time to scan freight efficiently.Ensure documentation accompanying freight is complete.Ensure all equipment is operated in a safe and proficient manner.Action bay labels, re-stacking of damaged freight, protecting leaking product.Maintain good working relationships.Communicate effectively within a team environment.What you'll needTo be successful in this role, you will be physically fit, have excellent team coordinating skills, and have some experience working with freight.Additionally, you will need:Prior work experience in the freight industry.A strong health and safety focus.OSH approved forklift certificate.F endorsed licence (preferred but not essential).Prior long fork experience (preferred but not essential).An understanding of dangerous goods laws (preferred but not essential).If you're interested in being a part of the team, please click on 'Apply'This is a phenomenal opportunity to join an awesome company and team so express your interest today.Team Global Express is an Alcohol and Drug Free Workplace.
