We are looking for a dedicated Call Center Representative to join our team in Christchurch, helping us connect with our clients and support our operational objectives.
**Job Summary:** The Call Center Representative will act as the first point of contact for clients and customers.
This role involves handling inbound and outbound calls, addressing client inquiries, providing information about our products and services, and resolving issues effectively.
You will engage with clients in a meaningful way that reflects our commitment to high-quality service.
**Key Responsibilities:** - **Customer Interaction:** Manage a high volume of incoming and outgoing calls professionally and efficiently, providing exceptional customer service.
- **Issue Resolution:** Triage and resolve customer inquiries and complaints, escalating complex issues to the appropriate team or manager.
- **Product Knowledge:** Maintain an in-depth knowledge of NOV's product offerings, services, and promotions to effectively assist customers.
- **Communication:** Clearly present information to customers and convey product benefits and features compellingly.
- **Documentation:** Accurately log calls, noting customer interactions and details for reference and reporting.
Update customer information as necessary.
- **Collaboration:** Work closely with the sales and support teams to ensure customer concerns and inquiries are addressed promptly and effectively.
- **Feedback Gathering:** Collect customer feedback and share insights with the management team to improve products and services.
- **Strategic Planning:** Assist in developing strategies to enhance the customer service experience based on interactions and observations.
- **Training Participation:** Engage actively in training sessions to stay up-to-date with product knowledge, industry standards, and customer service best practices.
**Requirements:** - **Experience:** A minimum of 2 years of experience in a call center or customer service role.
- **Education:** High School diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in Customer Service are a plus.
- **Personality Traits:** - Hardworking: Demonstrated work ethic and resilience in a fast-paced environment.
- Confident: Exhibits self-assurance when communicating with clients, effectively conveying company messages.
- **Soft Skills:** - Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to present information clearly.
- Strategic planning skills to identify and implement improvements in customer service processes.
- **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in using call center software and Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn new software applications quickly.
- **Interpersonal Skills:** Demonstrates empathy, patience, and active listening skills to foster customer relationships.
