Cafe / Retail Manager

Responsible for managing the daily operations of our busy Cafe and Honey Centre. This includes scheduling (rosters) staff, training employees, ordering supplies, monitoring finances, maintaining a clean and inviting environment, contributing to nurturing customer relationships, resolving issues, and striving to create a popular local Cafe.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsuring BuzzStop Staff provides first-class customer experience for all visitors - domestic and International.Maintain staff morale and engagement.Manage purchases for the Café and Retail Shop and Kitchen.Maintain competitive pricing with suitable margin for retail products.Track inventory, budget and cash flow.Monitor margins for food, beverage and retail.Feel comfortable talking about and selling honey to guests.Submit Payroll weekly, monitor creditors / debtors.Social Media > Posting on Instagram / Facebook.Monitor and update Shopify online store.Lead Monthly Stocktake.Work Experience & Skills RequirementsGreat communication and customer service skills.Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as/when needed.Minimum 2 years experience as a café/restaurant manager.Duty Manager Licence preferred, but not essential.Applicant must have the legal right to work in New Zealand.If this sounds like you, please apply with your CV and Cover letter telling us why you would be perfect for this role!
