Cafe / Retail Manager

Responsible for managing the daily operations of our busy Cafe and Honey Centre. This includes scheduling (rosters) staff, training employees, ordering supplies, monitoring finances, maintaining a clean and inviting environment, contributing to nurturing customer relationships, resolving issues, and striving to create a popular local Cafe.
Key Responsibilities Ensuring BuzzStop Staff provides first-class customer experience for all visitors - domestic and International. Maintain staff morale and engagement.Manage purchases for the Café and Retail Shop and KitchenMaintain competitive pricing with suitable margin for retail products.Track inventory, budget and cash flowMonitor margins for food, beverage and retail.  Feel comfortable talking about and selling honey to guests.Submit Payroll weekly, monitor creditors / debtorsSocial Media > Posting on Instagram / FacebookMonitor and update Shopify online store.Lead Monthly StocktakeWork Experience & Skills Requirements Great communication and customer service skillsFlexibility to work weekends and holidays as/when neededMinimum 2 years experience as a café/restaurant managerDuty Manager Licence preferred, but not essentialComputer skills Benefits  Competitive salary and bonus offersBeing a part of a fun team and productive work environmentCareer progression and learning opportunitiesWaking up to work in one of the most beautiful spots in Queenstown / The World. Applicant must have the legal right to work in New Zealand.
