The right candidate must be available on weekends and public holidays. About the Role 1.Finance: Be able to control key drivers of the business. This includes maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions, managing wage administration and scheduling to effectively control costs, implementing budget strategies related to food, beverage, and labour. 2.Day-to-day Operations: Execute store opening and closing procedures accurately, which involve handling register funds, securing cash, and fulfilling other assigned responsibilities. 3.Staff Management: lead, train and motivate team members. Supervise both back-of-house and front-of-house staffs during shifts to ensure adherence to service standards and customer satisfaction throughout interactions. 4.Customer Service: Take reservations, greet guests and assist in taking orders, possess excellent communication skills and enjoy engaging with global customers. Provide exceptional service, respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints. 5.Marketing: Collaborate with the owner to develop our brand and take responsibility for managing social media channels. Stay updated on industry trends. 6.Menu Development: Collaborate with chefs to create and update innovative, seasonal menus that cater to diverse guest preferences. 7.Coffee Area Coverage: Be capable of assisting with coffee-related tasks if needed during peak hours. About you 1.A relevant Diploma (in Hospitality / Business), OR, at least three years of cafe / restaurant management experience. 2.Financial capabilities: Able to accurately record and manage daily income and expenses, familiar with cash flow recording and reconciliation process. Understanding of financial management, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue optimization. 3.Proven expertise in preparing a wide range of coffee, including espresso-based beverages and latte art. 4.Ability to lead and develop a team. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive and hands-on approach. 5.High standard of professionalism and attention to details. Track stock levels of food, supplies, equipment, forecast needs and maintain inventory. 6.Flexibility to work on weekends and public holidays is essential. 7.Good communication skills.
