Cafe Manager

Our Client in New Plymouth, Taranaki is looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Cafe Manager to join their team.

The role is a permanent full-time position with some occasional overtime to meet seasonal demand, and includes weekend work and occasional evenings.

Minimum 30 hours guaranteed.

Responsibilities:

Working with an existing Food Control Plan

Rostering of staff

Ensuring that all compliance requirements of the cafe are adhered to.

Strive to achieve revenue budget and cost of sale %

Cafe stock control – stock take, ordering, etc.

Cash/EFTPOS handling of transactions.

Organisational, time management, and problem-solving ability

Ability to be flexible and work well under pressure

Good oral and written communication skills

Job Requirements:

Friendly manner and exceptional customer service skills

Any qualification in Business Management

Barista qualification or experience is preferred.

Front house & cafe in-house work management handling.

Making coffee is an essential part of this role.
