Cafe Manager

We are looking for an experienced Café Manager to join our team.This café is undergoing a new fit-out, and we need someone to establish the location as an exciting destination café.A hands-on role responsible for the overall management to ensure everything is running smoothly and efficiently every day.Must be capable of leading and inspiring a team, ideally with at least 2 to 3 years café management experience.Full-time position, daytime hours only.
Located in the Wigram area.Our ideal candidate will have:Strong leadership skills.Flair with food presentation.Able to work under pressure.Able to supervise staff.Excellent work ethics and reliability.Ability to oversee and organise events.Key responsibilities include:Day to day management of the cafe operations.People management including rosters and staff training.Working to develop new initiatives and identifying new opportunities for the cafe.Social and digital media experience.Compliance, health & safety, food control plan.Purchasing and pricing goods.Maintaining accurate stock levels.Handling financial transactions.Present a history of excellent work ethics and reliability.Competitive salary to the right candidate.You must be a NZ Resident or have a valid NZ Work Visa.Please note - we will only respond to applicants with relevant work experience.
