Café Cook - Hastings

Monday to Friday, 30 hours per week Cater Plus is proud to be the catering service provider for Heinz Wattie's, a Hastings based producer of frozen and packaged fruit, vegetables, sauces, baby food, cooking sauces, dressings and pet foods.
We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic, dedicated, and experienced Cook to join our cafe teams based at the Heinz Watties site.
This is a full-time role working across the 3-café site during the day shift.
In this position you will be carrying out food preparation, cooking, baking, reheating, serving customers, and keeping the café clean.
To be successful you will need: a passion for food and enjoy working with customers to keep them coming back for more previous experience in food preparation, and knowledge of food safety and hygiene experience in making delicious cabinet food and sandwiches experience in café and cafeteria style food services to be friendly and engaging, hard-working and flexible to be confident to work unsupervised and resolve any problems that arise to be able to operate Eftpos and POS machine with a smile, and cash-up at end of shift maintain a clean, tidy, safe and hazard free environment great communication skills and a can-do attitude.
