Job Description JB's Cafe located in our Ballantynes Store in Timaru is looking for an experienced and passionate Café Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis, 28 hours per week. You will be working Front of House alongside our Supervisor, providing exceptional service to our customers, and multitasking to ensure our customers always have a warm and welcoming experience.  If you've been feeling like a change this is your chance to join our awesome JB's Cafe team! The successful applicant will have: Experience working in a busy café environment. Setting up Front of House & closing. Barista skills Knowledge of pos systems. Serving, clearing and doing dishes. Excellent knowledge of food and beverage. Able to assist with food and baking preparation (not a must but advantage). Previous customer service experience in hospitality. Has a high level of presentation. A can-do attitude, be flexible and a great team player. Ensure that customers are given a prompt and efficient service. Additional Information This is a permanent opportunity with a minimum of 28 hours per week working Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Sunday, with some flexibility to pick up other days hours if required.  If you have a flair and passion for hospitality, we want to hear from you.
