Mo te turanga | About the Role We're looking for an energetic Café Assistant who is passionate about delivering the best customer service to work within our front of house café and catering team at our headquarters in Britomart.
You will be an experienced hospitality professional, who will help support our front of house team to deliver amazing food and coffee experiences for our customers.
Based in our Britomart head office, this role is Monday to Friday, with minimal evening / weekend work required.
Extra hours available during busier periods.
Na tau rourou | What will you bring?
One year or more experience working in hospitality.
Barista coffee making experience is highly favourable.
Knowledge and proficiency with food control plan and POS systems.
Experience with Wizbang and Safe Food Pro is advantageous.
Knowledge and experience of regulatory food safety requirements is critical.
Demonstrate a professional and personable demeanour.
Organised, multitasking and punctual in their work.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
Good business and commercial acumen.
