Job Description:
As a Cabinetmaker/Joiner, you will be responsible for producing and installing custom cabinetry, furniture, and woodwork. You'll work on projects that require a keen eye for detail, craftsmanship, and the ability to meet high standards. This role includes both workshop and on-site work, so flexibility and precision are key.
Key Responsibilities: Craft custom cabinetry, furniture, and joinery to precise specificationsRead and interpret blueprints, designs, and technical drawingsCut, shape, and assemble wood components using hand tools and machineryInstall finished pieces on-site with attention to detail and accuracyMaintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring a safe working environmentCollaborate with project teams to complete tasks on timeRequirements: Proven experience as a Cabinetmaker or Joiner (3+ years preferred)Relevant trade qualification or certificationProficiency in woodworking tools and equipment (saws, sanders, routers, etc.)Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanshipAbility to work independently and as part of a teamReliable transport and a valid driver's licenseOwn tools preferred.What We Offer: Competitive hourly rates with weekly payConsistent work on high-quality projects in the Wellington areaOpportunities for career development and skills enhancementSupportive team environment with a great company cultureHow to Apply:
