Our Company, Westlab New Zealand is an international importer, manufacturer and installer of premium laboratory joinery for commercial spaces across New Zealand.
With many exciting new projects on the horizon, we are searching for a Cabinetmaker & CNC Operator to join our Christchurch-based team.
Key Responsibilities Interpreting drawings and specificationsManufacture and assembly of benchtops, cabinetry, joinery and other Westlab productsInstallation of Westlab products (where/if required) Operating CNC machine; including programmingTraining can be provided to the right person (Assuming some basic joinery/woodworking experience and an ability to learn new software)Experience using a Biesse CNC an advantage (bSolid software)Machine maintenance (e.g.
greasing, cleaning, calibrating)Checking and sorting machined parts Assisting with job planning and cut lists Experience with compact laminate is an advantageWrapping and packing of jobs, including packing hardware and packing slipsGeneral factory work, including keeping areas clean and stocktakesBenefits Excellent salary packageOpportunities for career progressionPositive and supportive team cultureBonus incentivesRelocation reimbursement (if located outside of Christchurch)This is a great opportunity for somebody who may be in the joinery industry who is looking for something slightly different.
