This is the change you're looking for - Join our Oceania Dairy team as the Quality Manager for our Canning & Pouch (C&P) department.
The C&P Quality Manager is responsible for championing the company's commitment to maintaining and improving product and service quality within C&P. This role requires a technically minded leader who can drive quality improvement initiatives, ensure compliance with industry standards, and promote a culture of continuous improvement. The C&P Quality Manager will oversee the quality assurance and control processes, manage and develop a high-performing team, and ensure effective cross-departmental communication to align quality goals with broader business objectives. By fostering collaboration between departments, the C&P Quality Manager will facilitate growth, streamline processes, and ensure that quality standards are consistently met at every stage of production and service delivery. With a strong foundation in systems and methodologies, this role is integral to maintaining the company's reputation for quality product.
In the role of C&P Quality Manager you will be responsible for (not limited to):
Providing professional quality support to the C&P department, through deep knowledge of the complexities involved with infant formula.
Responsibility and oversight of ODL Quality and Compliance systems.
Facilitating and supporting ODL's internal audit and training program for C&P.
Management of out of specification product through identification and actioning corrective measures for any non-conforming internal or external results.
Liaising with regulatory bodies to ensure current and future compliance.
Managing relationships with key stakeholders within Oceania Dairy and Yili HQ.
The successful applicant will have:
Food Technology/Science based qualifications, with a good understanding of regulatory frameworks.
Experience within a dairy based production environment - Infant Formula preferred.
Excellent understanding of NZ/AUS Food Safety legislation, as well as keeping up with potential future changes and its impacts.
Quality auditing and remedial action experience.
The ability to facilitate communication across departments to champion quality initiatives and growth within the quality space.
