Job Description
As a Womenswear Buyer, you will play a pivotal role in driving our womenswear category, combining trend forecasting, supplier collaboration, and commercial acumen to create ranges that resonate with our brand and customer base. You'll have the autonomy to manage end-to-end buying processes, from range planning to performance analysis, ensuring we stay ahead in a competitive market.
This role is critical to our success and your key responsibilities are complex and exciting! You will have the opportunity to truly make and influence decisions that create value for our customers and drive commercial results.
In this role, you'll be responsible for:
Category Leadership: Take ownership of the womenswear portfolio, curating a compelling product range that meets customer needs and market demands.
Trend Forecasting: Stay ahead of fashion trends to inform decision-making, ensuring our collection remains fresh, relevant, and competitive.
Supplier Relationships: Cultivate and negotiate with key suppliers to secure the best partnerships and outcomes.
Strategic Planning: Develop and execute category strategies aligned with broader business objectives to maximise profitability.
Data-Driven Decisions: Analyse sales, market trends, and customer insights to inform purchasing decisions and drive performance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with design, merchandising, and marketing teams to bring the vision to life.
Qualifications
Highly commercial, insightful and decisive in your thinking, you are passionate about your craft and have an innate curiosity for 'how we can do better' to provide the best products for our customers.
Excellent stakeholder management and communications skills will be essentials to unlock collaboration, productivity and speed to market – this is key to our agile way of working! Your drive to contribute whilst taking ownership means you work effectively, both independently and collaboratively to deliver your best work and commercial results for the business.
