With our opening date set for November 2024, we are seeking a Butchery & Seafood Assistant Manager (2IC) to join the team. As a department leader, you'll play an integral part in our journey towards a successful store opening and continuously deliver an awesome shopping experience for our community.
The Role
Assist the Butchery & Seafood Manager to meet department targets and operational delivery standards.
Ensure all product meets the highest standards, is fresh and displayed attractively for our customers.
Listen to customers to find out what they want and need in one simple shop.
Search constantly for areas to improve our butchery & seafood operations, productivity, and efficiency.
Ensure all meat displayed in the case is correctly trayed, wrapped, and labelled.
Assist in delivering on commercial outcomes to drive growth in the store.

What we're looking for:
You'll have a passion for butchery & seafood and a good eye for quality and presentation.
Butchery qualification/Qualified butcher.
SAP and stock ordering experience.
Great people skills and leadership potential.
Able to strictly follow our Food Safety and Health and Safety program.
Reliable, self-motivated, and a good team player.
