Advanced Personnel Services | Listed 3 days agoButcherAdvanced Personnel ServicesLocation: Central Hawke's Bay, Hawke's BayJob Type: Full timeDuration: PermanentDescriptionGreat opportunity to join a well-established company and leader in the Meatworks industry.Duties and responsibilities include:Moving carcasses to freezers and chillersPacking and loading meatMeat processing, cutting, trimming, deboning, grinding, mincing, and shapingCompleting quality checks as required and following production guidelines and specificationsShape, lace, and tie roasts, using boning knife, skewer, and tineOperating machines to mince, grind, and tenderize meatWashing down processing roomsWorking as a team to meet production targetsCreating or acquiring labels for each packet by ensuring that type, date of expiry, and weight are mentionedMaintaining machinery and other equipment such as knivesPerforming other processing tasks as assigned.Other butcher tasks as requiredRequirements:Minimum 2 years Butchery experience or equivalent of a NZ Cert in Meat ProcessingAble to work with Lamb and BeefTeam PlayerPhysically FitAbility to work on your feet and conduct repetitive movementsRate: $27.00 to $29.00Hours: Full week, 40 or more hours per week.Must have open working rights in New Zealand.
