Description Are you a driven, self-motivated sales professional with a passion for the hunt? We're looking for a dedicated full-time Salesperson with proven experience in cold calling and direct sales who thrives in an independent, remote work environment. Ferret Software, a privately owned NZ software firm with 20 years of continued growth, is looking to further scale its business. The company has developed software products enabling cloud-based document management and electronic invoice processing. We operate a collaborative environment and team-based culture that strongly supports family and health.
Position Highlights:
Base Salary: $80,000, with uncapped commission potential.
Total Compensation: Expected earnings of $130,000+ in 1st year, thereafter $180,000+ annually. Opportunity to learn, grow & thrive based on reward for effort.
Location: Remote - work from home anywhere in NZ. Must have high-speed internet.
Key Responsibilities:
Actively prospect and generate new leads through cold calling and direct outreach.
Identify, qualify, demonstrate online, and close sales opportunities independently.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients.
Manage the sales cycle from initial contact to closing, with a hunter's mentality.
Efficiently hand over new sales to tech support for installation and training.
A minimum of 3 years proven sales experience in direct sales and cold calling.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Excellence in building and maintaining professional business relationships & contacts.
Able to largely work remotely on your own but also collaboratively with a team.
Strong administration skills tracking prospects, documents and emails.
Strong computer skills including Outlook and Microsoft Office products.
NZ Citizen or Permanent Resident or hold a NZ Work Visa, currently residing in NZ.
Advantageous (but not essential as full training will be provided):
Understanding of the Accounts Payable process or time working in the accounting industry.
Corporate experience or other B2B roles providing solutions to customers.
Software/SaaS experience and IT literacy.
