This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a busy and hardworking group driving the growth of our beautiful district.What you'll be doing / He aha te mahiYou will be responsible for ensuring that the Property & Infrastructure Directorate runs smoothly and efficiently by providing high-quality, consistent business support services. As part of a collaborative Business Support team, you will help meet the directorate's diverse needs by delivering seamless support and identifying opportunities to improve processes. You'll also play a vital role in onboarding, training, and providing resources to upskill our team on systems and processes.The role will involve:Coordinating and managing procurement and purchasing activities for the directorateProviding Contract Management supportAdministering and preparing responses to requests for information (from the public, media, and elected members) and requests for service in accordance with agreed standards and processesCompiling team and directorate level reports & overseeing the governance processes within the directorateAssisting with the directorate's continuous improvement initiativesEngaging and collaborating with teams across the wider organisationWhat you'll bring to the role / Ko wai to PukekaYou will have at least 5 years of administrative experience, advanced proficiency in computer software (with TechnologyOne experience highly desirable), and strong organisational skills to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
