Pass it on.He angitutanga | About the roleJoin us as our next Business Support Manager and play a pivotal role in supporting conservation growth through effective administration and business services.As the Business Support Manager for the NSI Region, you will:Lead and inspire a team of approximately 10 Business Support staff spread across offices located in Nelson, Picton, Renwick, Kaikoura, Motueka, and Takaka.Regularly visit these offices to provide on-site support and ensure smooth operations.
A full NZ driver's licence is essential for this role.Oversee a diverse range of responsibilities, including fleet, property, and facilities management, as well as reception, uniforms, hunting permits, and general business administrative support.Be the go-to person for coordinating and managing office functions, including the rollout of new technology and the overall management of office spaces.Collaborate closely with the Regional Leadership Team and Operations Managers to support the operational management of their teams and the implementation of the NSI Regional Business Plan.Manage budgets for facilities, stationery, and personnel.You are a positive, energetic leader with a proactive attitude and a knack for seeking innovative solutions.
To be successful in this role, you will bring the following:Experience in service delivery, business support, administration management, and corporate services.Proven skills in mentoring and coaching staff, with a strong focus on excellence in customer service.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt your message to different audiences and stakeholders.A natural collaborator with influential relationship management skills to work effectively across the regional leadership team.Strategic thinker with a background in business, systems, and process improvements.Enjoy working in diverse locations and developing strong relationships with a geographically dispersed team.
