Secondary (Years 7–15) / wharekura, Certificated teacher Social sciences Westlake Boys High School is looking to employ a talented, innovative and enthusiastic business studies teacher to teach a mixed range of abilities. Start term 1 January 2025 This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an outstanding learning environment and part of our team. Westlake Boys is a state secondary school in Takapuna on the North Shore of Auckland. Our boys achieve inside and outside of the classroom across a full range of subjects and activities, at the very highest levels: should be innovative, energetic and committed to the school's vision, as well as being prepared to play an active part in the co-curricular and professional life of the school. Applicants must be NZ registered, fully conversant with the NZ Curriculum and have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa. The terms, conditions and base salary is set by the Secondary Teacher's Collective Agreement (STCA) (2022 – 2025). The base salary for trained and registered teachers from 2025 ranges from $61,329.00 to $103,086.00, depending on qualifications and experience. Individuals' actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment by Education Payroll once a role is confirmed.
