This role is pivotal in ensuring operational efficiency and effectiveness across our Southern operations, elevating capabilities within the building and construction community.Provide leadership, coaching and management of our Southern Area Teams to ensure targets are met, create and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. You will also lead your team through a period of change as the wider organisation transitions into new legislative changes for the sector.You will hold strong credentials in Education along with proven experience in Strategic Leadership of Vocational Education systems. Have the big picture view, able to uncover future opportunities, be intuitive and able to leverage data insights. You are future-focused and are skilled at problem analysis and problem-solving. A proven leader, having managed a team effectively, particularly through change.Your expertise in key account management and relationship-building is complemented by your passion for both the construction and education sectors.Your established network and connections with industry stakeholders in the South Island region are a plus.An understanding of working within a Te Tiriti partnership organisation is important.We are passionate about building the people who build New Zealand and helping apprentices become valuable contributors to New Zealand's building and construction industry.
