We have embarked on significant technology upgrades on our ticketing system and have recently installed a state-of-the-art real-time information (RTI) system. You'll work with technology providers, the Public Transport team and our partners to ensure that systems are designed and configured to meet user needs.
Other responsibilities of the role:
Be the superuser & expert in the ticketing systems & our RTI system
Monitor performance and KPIs of RTI against agreed contracts
Work collaboratively with vendors to maintain expected service delivery standards
Develop documentation of the process, training material, & how-to guides
Complete a review of current processes & continue the development of new processes
Coordinate & facilitate activities in the product pipeline between our technology vendor, through our organisation
This is a full-time/fixed-term vacancy 40 hours per week ending September 2025. The indicative salary range for this role is $74,000 - $86,000.
You'll be someone who thrives in a collaborative environment serving both internal and external stakeholders. Relationship management for positive outcomes is critical for success in this role and you will be confident in this space. Navigating ambiguity, particularly around customer/vendor expectations on product delivery will be key for the success of this role. You'll be a confident communicator and comfortable being the "go-to" subject expert in this area.
You'll also demonstrate an understanding of our customers' needs: the ability to think of our systems from an end-user perspective is fundamental to success in this role. In conjunction with this you will be able to demonstrate the following experience:
Involvement in the development of information technology systems in a customer-facing environment
Leading and/or managing technology systems
Experience in managing relationships with multiple parties or stakeholders
Knowledge of Public Transport would be an advantage
