Business Services Manager - Foodeast-Haumako innovation hub Populous People Hawkes Bay Management (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics) Foodeast – Haumako has been created to support further growth of the ever-important food sector in Hawke's Bay. Almost at completion, it is envisaged this facility will fast become a hub for food-related parties to base their research and development, and operations, and act as a conduit and go to point for innovation. As Business Services Manager, you will sit at the operational and administrative heart of this.The scope here is broad and will see you sitting across the general day to day operations of the hub. You will be a key link and contact point with food-related businesses and agencies. Reporting to the Chief Executive, you will be across a range of functions, spanning operational support including facilities and tenancy management, event coordination, governance support and hands-on accounts administration. We need someone who will enjoy cultivating and managing relationships with industry groups. You will quickly become the go-to person for all tenants, being the key link in connecting them with industry experts and other food hubs across the country to facilitate ongoing innovation and commercialisation of food products.This role will be suited to someone keen to foster and ensure an approachable and accessible environment for the hub. You will play a key part in seeking out and navigating funding opportunities and engaging with prospective tenants.This is a great opportunity to help drive innovation and connectivity in the local food industry. To be successful, you will need to have proven stakeholder engagement experience and a relatability to food-manufacturing-based businesses. We need someone who wants to get hands-on and has a project and development focus but doesn't mind getting down and supporting the admin to make sure this place takes off.
