The Media Sales and Partnerships Manager, reporting directly to the GM, will play a central role in identifying and securing new clients. As a strategic thinker, you will develop and implement innovative client acquisition strategies that align with our broader market objectives. In this impactful role, you will bridge potential market opportunities with client engagement. Collaborating closely with marketing, advertising, and client service teams, you will use insights into market trends and client feedback to refine outreach efforts and improve the client onboarding process. This collaborative approach aims to enhance client satisfaction, ensure smooth integration into our platform, and foster long-term engagement and retention. Responsibilities: Supplier Onboarding: - Develop and execute strategies to attract and onboard new suppliers, tailoring approaches to their specific business models and market segments. - Lead negotiations and deal closures with new suppliers, ensuring seamless integration into our platform. - Analyse supplier onboarding processes and results, using data to refine approaches and enhance efficiency. - Establish ongoing relationships with new suppliers, offering support and guidance throughout their partnership with us. Strategic Supplier Relations: - Cultivate strong relationships with key supplier decision-makers, aligning offerings with their strategic goals and needs. - Conduct industry analyses to identify trends and opportunities beneficial to potential and current partners. - Develop customized onboarding plans for major suppliers, ensuring a tailored introduction to our services. - Utilize analytics to showcase the value of our platform to suppliers, influencing their long-term engagement. - Act as a trusted advisor to suppliers, delivering continuous value to foster loyalty and growth. Collaboration and Teamwork: - Collaborate with marketing and advertising teams to create promotional materials and campaigns that attract high-quality suppliers. - Work with the Product Development team to ensure our platform meets the evolving needs of new suppliers, enhancing their experience and engagement. Requirements: Proven Experience in Advertising and Media: Demonstrated expertise with over 10 years of experience in advertising and media sales, showcasing a thorough understanding of media sales and advertising solutions that drive business growth and foster brand engagement. Proven Experience in Business Development: A minimum of 10 years in business development or a related field, with a strong history of successfully securing and onboarding new business partners. Strategic Thinking and Planning Skills: Proficiency in developing and executing innovative strategies to attract and integrate new suppliers into a dynamic marketplace, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals. Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the retail and brand marketing sectors, including current trends and challenges, enabling effective alignment of strategies with the realities of potential suppliers. Strong Negotiation and Sales Skills: Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively and close deals, prioritizing the fulfilment of both the company's and suppliers' needs while ensuring profitable outcomes. Benefits: Competitive Compensation Package: Enjoy a competitive base salary ranging from $140,000 to $160,000, supplemented with superannuation. Uncapped Commission Structure: Earn a 10% uncapped commission on all sales, offering exceptional earning potential.
