Business Performance Support Manager

High Performance Sport New Zealand (HPSNZ) is looking for a highly professional and experienced individual to lead our Business Performance Support Team, a team of dedicated professionals committed to providing world class administrative support, facility, logistics and event management services to the organisation.Based at the National Training Centre, AUT Millennium, on Auckland's North Shore, this role manages a team of seven administrators/operations staff located in Auckland and at our other High Performance Training Centres throughout New Zealand.This is a fast-paced role within a wider team of professionals rated among the best at what they do in the world. Reporting to the General Manager, Business Operations, you will be responsible for managing the operations and administration function to deliver high quality, best practice, effective and efficient support services.Responsibilities:Leadership and development of the Business Performance Support teamFacility and office managementManaging budgetsSeeing through and supporting organisational projectsSupport for senior managementThe successful applicant will be an over-achiever with outstanding customer service, interpersonal and communication skills. They will work well under pressure and always be attentive to detail. It is vital that they are a team player with a "can do" attitude. Previous team, project and logistics management experience is essential alongside good IT skills.
