About the opportunity | Te whai waahi We have an opportunity for a Business Performance Lead to join our team in Hamilton or Auckland. This role will be reporting to the Commercial Manager- Business Performance (Office of COO- Chief Operating Officer). This role will have exposure across all of COO and is fantastic opportunity to utilise your commercial acumen, industry knowledge and expertise to enhance our operational and financial reporting to drive decision making and integrated thinking.
Key responsibilities:
•Co-ordination of various Senior stakeholders for the monthly management business review (MBR) for the COO leadership team.
•Work collaboratively with the wider commercial team, providing insights and challenge.
•Capital efficiency and effectiveness reporting, including supporting the COO Investment Committee governance forum.
•Provide insights into performance and recommendations to improve performance within LTA window (2030).
•Support long term outlook scenario modelling of performance and assess trade-offs for decision making.
•Assist with the translation of operational performance into financial outcomes.
About you | Moe koe To be successful in this role you will have strong commercial acumen and influencing skills at all levels. In addition, you will have high competency in numerical analysis, verbal and written communications leading to excellent commercial outcomes. Your results driven nature and ability to look at the bigger picture will impact not only your performance but the businesses' performance.
•A bias towards action, willingness to take ownership, high achievement orientation, flexibility, and resilience
•Problem-solving skills and previous modelling experience, with the ability to leverage existing and emerging toolsets to continually improve Fonterra's analysis and insights.
•Recognised tertiary qualification in Finance, Business, Economics, Financial Modelling, or similar discipline
•Big 4 experience is desirable
•A demonstrated background in finance or commercial roles, preferably in the dairy industry, manufacturing or logistics industries
•Power BI experience is desirable
