This is a crucial role to help drive income so we can continue to deliver on our vision to inspire the whole Selwyn Community to participate in active recreation through opportunities, leadership and Tuhono (connections).Who are we looking for:Someone who understands the benefits of an active community, a team player, and a great personality.The ability to push past the current economic climate and find Commercial Partners that are aligned with our vision and values.Core Responsibilities:Your first priority will be to find a naming partner for the Koru Games Selwyn Sports Trust - Tournament InfoFurther to this we need an additional four strategic partners to lift our Partner Group from 10 to 15 with the Kour Games Naming Partner included.Managing partner expectations and ensuring we are meeting our obligations under our partner contracts.Attending and supporting the Team in events as required.Who will this suit:We see view this as a 0.5 part time role suited but not limited to.Business Development or Accounts Manager seeking reduced hours.A Sales or Relationship Contractor who is looking for some set hours to help fill out their portfolio.RemunerationIdeally you will be a contractor and we are open to negotiating hourly or daily charges, a success fee is also available as a percentage of all new partnerships gained.Office space is available if required and travel expenses will be covered.Initially this role will report directly to the Board of Trustees with your main reporting line being through the Board Chair.If you seek further information, please contact the Board Chair directly.
