We are looking for a Business Manager to take charge of the Financial health of our business by administering accounting operations to meet legal requirements.
Our Ideal candidate should be familiar with audits, invoices, budget and contract preparations.
He/She would demonstrate interest in managing accounting activities, including overseeing and authorizing bank reconciliations, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
They would also have excellent organizational skills and be able to handle time-sensitive tasks.
Ultimately, they would be responsible for the day-to-day management of our financial transactions, procedures and staff.
Responsibilities: Attention to Detail Have a drive and commitment to succeed.
Highly motivated and focused Financial management – including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance.
Operations management – manage the day-to-day, including property, facilities, HR, procurement, Contracts and Staffing.
Strategic planning – collaborate with the Board to develop and implement strategic plans.
Risk management – identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Compliance and governance – oversee governance structures to ensure accountability and transparency.
Resource allocation – this could involve prioritizing funding for key initiatives, projects or departments within Kainga Pasifika services.
Performance monitoring and evaluation – establish metrics and benchmarks to assess and analyze performance.
Professional development – lead and support staffing development and training.
Reporting to the Board of Trustees Your profile A genuine commitment to Kainga Pasifika Services and the Pacific Community as a whole.
Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related experience Strong analytical skills, and the ability to make informed decisions.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and partner effectively with people, staff and other services.
Skilled in administering legislative, statutory, and contractual obligations.
Highly developed organizational and administrative skills, ability to meet deadlines, and work autonomously and as a team player.
Strong financial systems, Excel, and Xero know-how A responsible and proactive approach to Health and Safety Prepared to undergo pre-employment checks, including police vetting, in accordance with the Vulnerable Children Act 2014 The position is Full-time of 40 hours a week 8.30am - 5.00pm Monday – Friday.
