As a Business Manager, you'll be solely responsible for overseeing all operations of the dual site - Rebel Sports and Briscoes - as well as mentoring and leading your management team to be the best they can be - ensuring the site's success. This will suit someone that's multi-talented - happy to be behind a desk or on the shop floor, someone that is a strong people leader with the operational retail experience to back them.
This position is full time, workingone weekend, 40 hours a week.
Key responsibilities will include: Leading, mentoring and coaching your team with passion to deliver a superior customer experienceExceed sales targets whilst holding accountability for the Profit Centres P&LActively leading by exampleEnsuring administrative and audit processes are followedHaving proven skills associated with maintaining the integrity of inventoryPromoting, advocating and supporting all company learning and training initiativesMaintain a safe environment for our people and customers through actively promoting "safety first" in everything we doYou will be: Ideally tertiary qualified with 5+ years of relevant management experience, preferably in the retail industryA proven leader with experience managing a team in large format or multi-site retail businessesAble to demonstrate effective decision making supported by sound business acumen including creative, strategic, and analytical reasoningSupportive of your team through effective organisational, planning and communication skillsA self-starter but people focusedMotivated by earning the respect and trust of your team membersFlexibility to work across a seven-day roster as and when requiredAbout the Company: Briscoe Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer, a partner of First Foundation and a proud supporter of Cure Kids.
