Founded in NZ and well into their growth journey; our client is an Education platform that has scaled across multiple countries and continues to grow as they strive to achieve their vision & ambition.
As an early disruptor in the education sector, our client has been recognised globally and named in the Deloitte Fast 50.
Now an international business, with Head Office in NZ, the team is completely remote.
The role:
As the Business Manager for NZ & Australia, you will be part of the SLT reporting to the Founder & Board.
This role will be critical in communicating the organisational strategy and aligning focus across key areas: Sales, Marketing, HR, and supporting the CFO & Head of Learning.
Your day to day will include:
Leadership and communication with Managers across your teams; Sales, Marketing & HR to provide clear, consistent strategy and direction.
Supporting the Sales Manager with go-to-market strategy, ideas, and opportunities while ensuring the team is well-supported and invested in.
Identify areas for Marketing initiatives that will deliver strong ROI across NZ & Australia.
Act as the conduit between your teams, the SLT, and the board to plan, define, own budgets, support forecasting, and ensure KPIs and milestones are achieved.
To be a culture champion; ensuring the core values and principles are lived and part of the fabric of the business within a remote environment.
Providing leadership to HR around proactive culture and people initiatives that will support internal mobility and development.
Closely collaborate with the SLT & Board to develop business cases for and identify opportunities for sustainable scale and operational effectiveness.
Your experience:
Most importantly, you need to be a natural leader, be passionate about developing individuals, build team capability, and be motivated by being part of a passionate, purpose-led business.
You will need to have experience working with different cultures and have an adaptable communication style.
You will need to have Sales & Marketing experience from a Service-based business; whilst you don't need to have directly done Sales, being able to think strategically about market growth, provide solutions, and understand best practice tools & processes is key.
As the team is completely remote, we are ideally looking for someone who understands how to build & develop culture, connection and communication within remote environments.
