Learn more at www.ingrammicro.com About role : As a Business Manager in Cybersecurity for our Advanced Solutions Group, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our designated Business Unit. This position requires a strategic mindset, exceptional leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of the cybersecurity landscape. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets, fostering strong vendor relationships, and leading a team to success.
Key Responsibilities: Drive the overall management of the designated Business Unit within the cybersecurity domain, focusing on achieving revenue, profitability, and growth targets.Collaborate closely with team members to develop and execute business and promotional plans in alignment with vendors and other relevant stakeholders.Ensure optimal engagement with vendors through regular communication and strategic alignment.Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to team members, fostering their professional growth and development.Monitor and drive monthly sales by vendors, addressing any significant variances and maximizing opportunities for vendor rebate entitlements.Actively participate in the annual budget process and track brand results against budget, collaborating with internal teams and vendors to achieve targets.Maintain regular contact with vendors, optimizing their profile with the sales team and marketing efforts, and continuously reviewing product portfolios for new opportunities.Develop and execute plans to maximize business and share for vendors' products, including quarterly marketing plans and execution of vendor-initiated marketing programs.Drive effective sales execution across sales teams, ensuring the availability of current and effective sales tools.Monitor revenue, gross margin, and budget adherence, providing regular updates and coaching to direct reports as needed.Role Requirements: Demonstrated experience as a business leader, with strong critical thinking skills to evaluate decision alternatives effectively.Experience in effective partnership abilities with both customers and vendors.Willingness to embrace and champion change within the organization.Capacity to identify priorities and plan accordingly for strategic initiatives.Strong influence skills to drive ideas forward and garner support.Excellent communication skills to convey information clearly and concisely.Demonstrated proficiency in managing dynamic teams, and fostering team growth and development.Innovative mindset to develop and implement new business practices.Expertise in sales and marketing strategies within the cybersecurity domain.Commitment to personal and organizational excellence, with a focus on accountability.Professionalism in all interactions, coupled with strong analytical capabilities.Proven ability in relationship management and negotiation techniques.Exceptional presentation skills to effectively communicate ideas and strategies.Relevant experience in the IT industry, particularly in marketing, sales, and purchasing.Your Path to Progression: Your growth is our priority.
