Are you a sales powerhouse with a proven background in Direct media sales and a passion for media and digital advertising?
We're looking for a Business Director (Direct Sales) to join our team and drive new business opportunities across our direct client portfolio.
This is your chance to represent Sky's huge portfolio of entertainment and sports content at a time of rapid digital expansion in our advertising business.
You'll leverage your existing relationships whilst developing new client relationships to deliver ad revenue growth in a client base with huge growth potential.
In this role, you'll develop and implement a sales strategy for growing Direct business, work closely with Sky Sales support teams to develop innovative client solutions, and consistently ensure that we're delivering the best solutions for our clients.
Our ideal person is someone who is comfortable with prospecting new clients, building strong relationships and selling across traditional and digital media channels.
Key responsibilities will include: Creating and implementing sales strategies that grow client revenue and secure new business from the direct advertisers and select smaller agencies Managing client relationships, ensuring we're delivering top-notch service and exceeding expectations Working closely with stakeholders to align goals and drive collaboration across departments Monitoring market trends and staying ahead of industry developments Leading, coaching, and mentoring a small team, driving a high-performance culture Ensuring financial stability and regulatory compliance throughout the sales process ESSENTIAL 5-10+ years of experience in a media sales role Experience in media sales (essential) and TV and/or Digital media sales experience (preferred) Experience in media sales to Direct advertisers essential A proven track record of exceeding sales revenue targets in a media environment Strong existing relationships with advertisers Intermediate Microsoft Office skills in Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel Legal right to work in NZ as defined by Immigration NZ PREFERRED Bachelor's degree in business or a related field If this opportunity excites you and you want to join us in sharing stories, possibilities, and joy, apply online today.
