About The Role
NHP New Zealand have an exciting opportunity available for a BD / SALES REPRESENTATIVE to join our Sales team, based in Christchurch.
Reporting to the Wholesale Channel Manager, you will have full flexibility and ownership in increasing NHP's market share throughout the Southern region of New Zealand including Timaru, Ashburton, Nelson, Blenheim and the West Coast. With a deep understanding of your customers, you will develop the best and most effective sales proposals in the market, tapping into wider resources within the business.
Predominantly focusing on Electrical Wholesalers & Contractors!
Technical training & support provided!
Other Responsibilities Include

Building & maintaining relationships with key stakeholders to achieve designated sales targets
Develop and implement sales strategies utilising available marketing programs
Coordination of customer presentations, highlighting products, solutions & service capabilities and how they improve outcomes

Ideally you will have / be:

Electrical or Electrical Engineering related qualification (highly regarded)
Previous experience in the Electrical industry or a strong desire to work in this space
A track record in delivering sales results & servicing customer needs or a willingness to develop your career in Sales, whilst utilizing your Electrical or Technical knowledge
An ability to 'listen to the customer' & translate needs into business solutions
Exceptional communicator with strong influencing & relationship building skills
Highly motivated with a drive to succeed
Effective time management & organizational skills
