Support your customers and take them on a sustainable journey.Join a business that truly cares about our people, our environment and evolving the way we work.Your key responsibilities are:Outbound Sales and Business DevelopmentProactively identify and win new business in new and existing customers through structured planning; goal and objective setting, sales pipeline management and the ongoing tracking of resultsEnsure the delivery of a high quality customer experience, maintaining a full understanding of the OfficeMax sales offer, including the relevant specialised products and servicesDevelop leads and capture new account opportunitiesCollaborate with the Sales Operations and Account Management teams, following up on all leads and opportunities sourced from their frontline customer interactionsEnsure all pipeline and customer information and activity is up to date in Salesforce CRMExcellence in Sales executionAchieve Sales revenue, gross profit, margin % and conversion targetsDrive the business development sales process through phone/email cold calling, qualifying leads, identifying pain-points and opportunities, solution selling, proposal development, negotiation, new customer implementation and handoverCollaborate with other sales and operational team members when conducting joint face-to-face/online/showroom customer visits and interactionsGenerate quotes and check prices and stock levels through the Pronto ERP or CRM systemCollaborate with Bid Writer should any customer-specific customisations be required e.g. inclusion of sustainability, charitable foundations materialWhat you will bring:3-5+ years business development management experienceExperience in the relevant sector or industrySuccessful record of gaining new business and customers, and consistent achievement of sales targetsDemonstrated experience in customer negotiationsPrevious experience using ERP systems, preferably Salesforce, Pronto and SeismicCommercial, logistics and problem-solving skillsEmpathetic and adaptable interpersonal skillsSustainability and HS&W championPeople and CultureA business that cares, take your birthday and a wellbeing day off on us!Staff buying ratesHybrid working arrangements with at least three days based in the officeGreat people!
