The Role
As aBusiness Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in winning new business, driving revenue growth and managing client relationships. You will be responsible for ensuring that products are specified in architectural plans and construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic plans to grow the client base, focusing on high-spend prospects.
Cold call and build direct relationships, while ensuring product specification in projects.
Cultivate relationships with existing clients to identify new growth opportunities.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Prepare and deliver accurate, professional quotes and tenders to prospective clients.
Provide innovative, best-fit solutions to meet client needs and drive business development activities to meet KPIs.
Desired Skills and Experience
We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated sales professional with the following:
Proven success in business development and account management, ideally with experience in signage, packaging, adhesives or similar.
Well-networked within the Auckland market.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building trust and rapport with clients.
Strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
A proactive, results-driven approach, comfortable working independently and within a team.
Commitment to professionalism and integrity in all business interactions.
Ability to influence decision-makers and engage with diverse stakeholders within client organizations.
Experience in presenting solutions and building influential relationships with key stakeholders.
A demonstrated track record of winning and developing new client relationships.
