Business Development Manager - Property DevelopmentWe are NZ's leading Property Investment Education and Property Sales company, we've been operating in NZ for 10 years and 17 years in the Australian market.Our company mission is to help people build wealth through property.The RoleThis role will be concentrating on securing listings for brand new property developments for our investors, including stand-alone homes, townhouses, and off the plan apartments throughout New Zealand. As such you will find yourself mostly focused on business clients / developers. With a new business acquisition focus, you will be responsible for increasing revenue and market share and achieving KPI's and targets. You can expect to be networking with property developers, investors, and building companies.Key Responsibilities include:Generating new business / referralsMeeting with potential clients – discuss the full sales process, options, and pricingMaintaining and grow strong relationships with clients throughout the build / project processMaintaining appropriate enquiry follow up standards, call cycles & input of informationAttending industry events, and networking across all appropriate channels to generate leadsEducating our sales and coaching team on the projects and supporting the sales processYour ExperienceYou will be a hunter who thrives on generating new business, equally you must be comfortable putting together account management plans and building strong and lasting relationships with clients. Our consultants are a tight-knit team, who truly support each other, and we are looking for a highly collaborative industry professional to join them. You will be technically strong and come from a similar role – current experience within the New Zealand property development / new home market and a network of contacts is highly desirable. In addition, we are looking for the following:Extensive business development experience gained from within a similar roleCustomer focused mind-set together with a high degree of integrity and work ethicTechnically strong with a good understanding of the Auckland new apartment / property development marketA network of industry contacts would be highly desirableAwareness of the market and competitor offersProven real estate sales experience is a must as is a knowledge of property investment fundamentals. Ideally you will have experience with 'off the plan' contracts and salesMust have a full driver's licensePositive Real Estate offers a competitive retainer and uncapped commission.Your values will need to be aligned with ours; honesty, integrity and a drive for success.
