You'll be developing a vast new territory calling on all joinery, cabinetry and end users of specialized tool pieces to sell highly spec'd and supported international quality tool solutions.The territory is Wellington north through to Dannevirke, Napier/Hastings, Gisborne, Rotorua, as well as Upper South Island; Blenheim, Picton, Nelson regions.As this territory till now has not been worked in by this growing organization, it is expected to yield some exciting sales opportunities. The product range you are selling and supporting manufacturing businesses with, is German manufactured quality, and highly regarded in the market place.You will enjoy:A small highly experienced teamRepresenting a band that has exceptional customer service behind itAn autonomous role offering plenty of technical support + WFH + Car + tools of the trade (phone/laptop)An internationally backed product line and a company in extensive growth modeUncapped commission and a secure base salaryYour role will be:Self driven; highly autonomous - WFHApproaching via warm and cold leads, all manufacturing businesses that use blade technology in their factories (a huge territory!)Providing sound technical knowledge to businesses around product choices, adding value at every connectionControlling and maintaining adequate stock recordsEnsuring all customers receive a value-add response to enquiries regardless of how big or smallThe right person for this role will have:Sound practicable working knowledge of the use of tools in the manufacturing industry - you may have been in a similar role, or someone who has experience in a joinery or similar industry working with machinery that allows you to speak from experience with customersSales experience in some form - ideally as a sales representative or someone who is very driven and comfortable in front of warm and cold leadsA 'get up and go' personality, with a deep understanding of the impact of following through and creating strong working relationships.Commission is uncapped in this exciting newly created Business Development role.
