Business Development Manager(Full Time)Location: North IslandReports to: Sales ManagerAgilis is an innovative pharmaceutical supplier to the Veterinary animal health sector, reflecting our commitment to excellence and market leadership in animal health products.Role Purpose:The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, enhancing customer satisfaction, and growing the Agilis brand across a designated territory. This role focuses on building strong relationships with customers, identifying growth opportunities, and supporting marketing initiatives to expand the Agilis product portfolio.Key Accountabilities:Business Development and Promotion:Achieve or exceed sales targets by actively selling and promoting the full range of Agilis products.Develop and execute strategic call planning to engage key distributors, customers, and influencers effectively.Organize and participate in field days, conferences, and promotional activities to generate interest and drive product sales.Identify market trends, provide market intelligence, and analyze opportunities for growth.Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and investigate new product opportunities to meet customer needs.Customer Relationship Management:Develop and maintain strong, trusted relationships with key customers.Provide outstanding customer service, handling inquiries, concerns, and follow-ups promptly.Identify and pursue new business opportunities, onboarding potential clients to grow market share.Ensure high standards of professionalism in all customer interactions, embodying the Agilis brand values.Territory and Business Management:Accurately record all sales and customer interactions within the CRM system, ensuring data is current and reliable.Monitor sales performance, analyze results, and take proactive steps to meet or exceed targets.Provide regular sales reports, customer updates, and market feedback to the Sales Manager.Collaborate with production and operations teams to minimize supply disruptions and reinforce Agilis' reputation as a reliable supplier.Support marketing initiatives, including social media and promotional planning, where required.Collaboration and Brand Support:Champion the Agilis brand through consistent delivery of its attitude, values, and service promise.Provide input and support for marketing campaigns and key growth projects.Work cross-functionally with the Sales and Product teams to align efforts and meet commercial goals.Health, Safety, and Compliance:Actively adhere to all Agilis Health & Safety standards, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.Follow all company policies and guidelines for ethical conduct and operations.Skills and Experience Required:Proven experience in sales, preferably in the rural sector or animal health industry.Strong relationship management skills with the ability to engage and influence customers.Commercial acumen with experience in managing profitable deals and identifying growth opportunities.Marketing and communication experience, including digital promotion and event participation.Strong analytical and planning skills with the ability to forecast and manage sales pipelines.Excellent computer proficiency, particularly in Excel, CRM systems, and data extraction.Reliable, proactive, and driven to meet and exceed targets.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):Achieve growth in sales revenue and market share for Agilis products.Deliver high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.Accurate, up-to-date use of CRM systems and timely reporting of sales activities.Support team initiatives, field promotions, and marketing campaigns.Meet or exceed sales targets and agreed performance metrics.How to Apply:Interested candidates are invited to submit their resume and a cover letter through Seek, outlining their suitability for the role.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in New Zealand?Do you have experience in a sales role?Do you have experience in a cold calls sales environment?Do you have a current New Zealand driver's licence?
