About the Role: We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our energetic and passionate team. This role will report to the VP of Business Development and work closely with the CEO. You will help plan and manage the company's long-term strategic objectives. You will work with the VP of Business Development to identify project opportunities, analyse relevant markets impacting growth, profitability, and productivity, and monitor competitors. An important skill is the ability to understand the key problems our customers face and articulate our value proposition to them. Additionally, you will help find and apply for non-dilutive funding such as government grants and incentives.
This role will involve representing Zincovery at conferences and other stakeholder forums, while also working with the technical and corporate teams on initiatives such as planning and executing our capital raising strategy. You'll have the independence and freedom to make decisions using your own judgement, combining your business development skills with technical insight.

As Business Development Manager, your role will be full of variety: Develop and maintain strong external relationships with prospective business partners and customers.
Drive commercial discussions and follow through to committed agreements.
Assess global market opportunities to create and validate the sales market strategy.
Assist with Zincovery's capital raising strategy and execution.
Identify existing brands that Zincovery could partner with to build name recognition and future sales pipelines.
Monitor key competitors and identify areas of opportunity.
Great opportunities to travel throughout the United States and Europe (~20% per year).
As our Business Development Manager, you would ideally bring: Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or science.
3+ years of professional experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong time management skills, well organised and dependable.
Ability to build long-lasting relationships with future customers.
Ability to develop and document processes from the ground up.
Initiative and independence to plan your work schedule.
A passion for sustainability.
Willingness to travel nationally and internationally to meet customers.
