Generous base salary, car allowance + uncapped commissionBenefits and perksGrowth and DevelopmentWe have an amazing opportunity within our Christchurch branch for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a team of high performing professionals where our customers are the centre of everything that we do.Responsibilities:Engage and influence new business prospects from all areas of the commercial landscape - from a start-up entrepreneur to the CEO of a nationwide corporate.Become a subject matter expert across specific industries in order to provide tailored solutions for clients and articulate how our products and services can best solve the challenges they face.Manage and build a portfolio of clients through performing retention and growth exercises.Prospect new business across all pillars of our portfolio, enabling our customers to work smarter via technology.Articulate our value proposition across our suite of technology solutions and services.Utilise the CRM in line with company process and to capitalise on opportunity.Skills, Attributes and Experience:Minimum of 5 years B2B technology sales experience (or relatable transferable industry).Minimum of 2 years in a technology focused industry with demonstrable success.Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to influence stakeholders and decision makers.Self-driven and highly motivated.Resilience and adaptability in your approach to business development.Eager to learn and positive attitude.Determination and tenacity in seeking new customers.Effective written and verbal communication skills.Demonstrable information technology services (ITS) knowledge.Legally entitled to be working in New Zealand.You are passionate about your work and have experience working in a busy, fast paced, and dynamic sales environment.A bit about Ricoh:We invest in our employees and encourage a learning environment where you really can make your career what you want it to be.
