Primary Purpose of the Position
The primary purpose of the senior-level Business Development Manager is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients, by:
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the enterprise market segment.
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with key stakeholders and C-level decision-makers by ensuring customer outcomes are achieved.
Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry trends.
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
Promoting the company's products/services addressing or predicting clients' objectives
Preparing sales proposals and contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
Keeping records of sales interactions, revenue, invoices etc.
Providing input into marketing and lead generation campaigns
Adhering to any and all company policies and procedures
Business Development Manager - Experience and Personal Attributes:
Business development sales experience in the NZ & Australian IT enterprise market
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
Action-oriented and time management skills
Friendly and out-going, people person
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud computing, the IT channel and vendors
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with C-level executives.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, disciplined time management and able to work independently.
Proficiency in CRM software and Google or Microsoft Office Suite.
Salary range has been provided: Uncapped OTE including performance-based commission and bonus incentives.
