This is not just another hunter role – it's your chance to take the reins, create real impact, and see the results of your efforts both in terms of career progression and financial rewards.What We are Looking ForReporting directly to our Managing Director, we are seeking to bring in a driven IT consulting sales professional with a knack for building great relationships with technology leaders and executives, and someone savvy enough to nurture and win opportunities for consulting work in both new and existing clients. We're looking for someone who can uncover and develop a range of consulting assignments ranging from Staff Augmentation to Team or Squad as-a-Service, right through to high-level Advisory engagements for our key thought leaders. Working in conjunction with our existing Wellington business development team, all of your efforts will focus on a range of commercial enterprise, mid-tier and government accounts within the Auckland region.Ideally, you'll have some knowledge in our areas of expertise. You will likely have come from a prior IT consulting sales role, either in the Testing, Transformation or Software Engineering space. Similarly, you may have previously been a consultant in the IT Recruitment world and know a fair bit about the technology sector and have a strong network. Understanding what we do is important.We need someone who can take the platform we have already built in the Auckland region and take it to the next level as the market shifts back into growth mode through 2025 and beyond. This role is pivotal to the next stage of our journey to scale, so you'll play a key part within our wider leadership team and will drive our success in the Auckland market.What you'll be doingDeveloping new business opportunities and building relationships with technology leaders: You will leverage your existing network for leads, chase referral business or conduct prospecting calls to new potential clients.
