Business Development Manager – Activata, Grafton Head Office, Auckland
Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for fostering meaningful client relationships and growing territories? Activata, a leader in paytech solutions, is looking for an enthusiastic Business Development Manager to join our team. We specialize in providing EFTPOS terminals, point of sale (POS) solutions, and prepaid services, including transport ticketing and mobile top-up, delivered seamlessly through our EFTPOS terminals.
About the Role:
This field-based role involves managing and expanding your assigned territory to achieve sales growth. Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will receive regular training, 1-on-1 catchups, and ongoing upskilling to support your career development. We also offer an attractive remuneration package to the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with each retailer, ensuring contract retention and actively pursuing new business opportunities outside the Activata network.
Take full ownership of territory growth, maximizing sales of all Activata products.
Compile prospect lists using trade directories and other sources.
Regularly visit existing and prospective clients to identify and act on sales opportunities.
Build and manage a robust sales pipeline within our Salesforce CRM system.
Skills & Experience:
Proven business-to-business sales experience, ideally in a technical environment.
Experience in POS and EFTPOS sales preferred.
Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets.
Strong customer-focused sales approach, emphasizing relationship building.
Background in route or FMCG industry sales is an advantage (training provided).
