This role is suited to someone who is flexible, organised, pro-active and able to multi-task, with experience in dealing with Commercial and Asset Finance.
What's so exciting about this role? The BDM is part of the Sales Team and is ultimately responsible for driving revenue and growth for the business. This role will suit someone with knowledge and experience in the Broker and Aggregator Market, a strong network of Commercial Brokers matched with sound technical knowledge of Asset Finance. You will be financially numerate and have the ability to analyse and interpret financial information.Your approach to sales is professional, execution focused with the ability to perform under pressure and strike a balance between customer needs and our business imperatives. We are particularly interested in applicants based in the Auckland area who are prepared to travel to other cities and regional areas.
What Does An Average Day Look Like? No day is average atflexicommercialbut here's an idea of what you can expect to do in this role:
Identifying and generating leads for the development of new Broker relationshipsLeveraging industry research, existing networks, cold / warm calling, attending meetings, conducting presentations, and attending PD Days and Conferences.Meeting with and obtaining information from potential new dealsPreparing customer proposals and negotiating key commercial terms with proposed Vendors / IntroducersStructuring and pricing proposals for new dealsWork with Account Managers and Operations to ensure that deals are processed efficientlyWho will thrive in this role? We are looking for a dynamic, trusted advisor with a strong network and a strong personal brand. An amazing customer service ethos and great customer engagement is a must for this role along with an easy approach to doing business with our brokers. You will be able to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with functional areas and marketing resources and influence key areas within flexicommercial to achieve the best outcomes.
